The College ensures Class 3b and 4 laser equipment in Alberta has been appropriately tested and meets legislative compliance. We register and re-certify equipment, assess facilities, keep a database of registered equipment and follow up on equipment safety concerns when necessary.

Before designated radiation equipment can be used, a registration certificate must be issued by the College.
